Refund policy

Refund rules should match the service stage.

Government charges and optional private-service fees are different payments and may have different refund treatment.

Before a paid service begins

Your written quote should explain when work starts and any cancellation period. If you cancel before Pacific Legacy Migration begins the agreed work, the private service fee should ordinarily be refundable, subject to the accepted written terms and applicable law.

After work begins

If review or preparation work has started, a reasonable amount reflecting work already completed may be retained where permitted. The written scope should explain the calculation before payment.

After an official request is submitted

The official NZeTA fee and IVL are generally not refundable by Immigration New Zealand, including when a request is declined. Pacific Legacy Migration cannot refund government money it does not control. Private fees for completed services are generally not refundable unless required by law or the agreed service was not delivered.

Duplicate or incorrect payments

Report a suspected duplicate private-service charge promptly through the contact form without sending payment card details. Government-payment questions must be directed to Immigration New Zealand.

How to request a review

Use the contact form with your service-case reference, the payment date and a brief explanation. Do not include passport or card numbers.

Commercial review needed. Pacific Legacy Migration should confirm exact cancellation windows, processing deductions and refund times before accepting payment.
